My efforts at building more Automotive pages and Motorcycle pages are starting to pay off. Back in late July I noticed an increase in clicks to my LunchBreakShopping mall site, especially on the Automotive pages I built for JC Whitney.
I increased the number of pages and the content and then added more than a dozen pages of Auto Anything parts and Street Beat Custum pages because I’m sure that parasite BHO software isn’t stealing the commission from those sales. What’s that, you say? One good way to steal commissions from an honest web site owner is to download software from one of these companies that promise to send part of the sale to your kids’ schools, or back to you, or to your favorite charity. And then people wonder how they get so many pop-up ads, trojans and spyware applications in their computer.
Anyway, as soon as I added some merchants who aren’t affiliated with Ebates and UPromise, etc., I started seeing sales for my traffic and discovered that my mall was finally being featured by Google and Yahoo, MSN and others. Yes!!!!! I seem to have a steady stream of automotive, so I added Motorcycle merchants and it picked up again.

Automotive – look for AutoAnything and Street Beat Customs.
MotoLeather – a great place for the cruisers – Harley, Honda, etc.
RideGear – my son tells me this is the place for street bikes, etc. He says it’s the best source for riding leathers. Hey, what do I know? Sounds good to me.

I’ve been trying to build web pages and post to my blogs every spare minute. Most evenings I stay here at the computer until bedtime just because the day seems to get away. It takes an hour or so to post coupons in the morning and write up any brilliant post ideas I’ve had during the night.
Then it’s time to run to the store or to the downtown office or to the Post Office. Even if the house is falling down around my ears, I try to get dishes done or dinner fixed – usually just one or the other.
Anyway, I built a sweet stuffed animal page and gathered tips for a “Moving” page. Tonight I worked on adding to and improving the automotive section of the mall. I’ve finally got some natural search going on there and I think that provides a place to build from. We’ll see.
