Hard to claim middle age
You know how sometimes your mind refuses to focus hard enough to get your feelings tamped down where they belong? :>)
I have a little mini-crisis of that sort going on right now. It’s nothing, really. It’s just that the oldest three of “our” children are suddenly middle aged! And when I realized that, my feelings were very senior citizenly. Now it’s not like the older three just suddenly jumped into the 35-65 demographic. It’s that I stopped to figure out how old they were and mid-forties and was the answer. Oh, my!
Not sure what I’m going to do when I realize that the younger three (my offspring) are all mid-thirty. I’ll probably need to find out what they mean when they say “nerve pills”.
